Bio::
I was born in Peoria, Illinois and educated at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I graduated with a degree in art. I lived in Colorado, then back to Illinois where I started working at my first newspaper. I remember thinking how photojournalism just felt like the right fit and that was over twenty years ago. I am now a freelance photographer currently living In Virginia Beach, Virginia. I feel privileged to meet new people and learn about their lives through photography.
